Cercis chinensis Bonsai Seeds

Cercis chinensis, the Chinese Redbud is a plant of the Fabaceae family native to China and Japan that grows between 150 to 1,400 metres above sea level. As a tree, the Chinese redbud may grow up to 15 metres tall with a trunk diameter of up to 50 centimetres; however, the species is normally found growing in shrub form. It also makes a stunning pot plant and bonsai subject. The flowers are pink or milky white in colour whilst the leaf body is almost circular in shape. Flowering in April, the Chinese redbud produces fruit in October.
