THE DUCKS ARE IN GREEN WITH GOLD GILT DECORATION AND GLAZED. THE LILYS ARE IN WHITE WITH GOLD GILT DECORATION. CAN SEE THIS ITEM WAS INSPIRED BY ORIGINAL CAPODIMONTE FROM THE 1700S. LILYS WERE A FAVOURITE FLOWER AND EVEN WAS FEAUTURED IN THEIR ORIGINAL FLEUR DE LIS LOGO.
WHO IS CESARI VILLARI AND WHAT IS CVS PORCELAIN? Silvia and Cesare Villari were both sculptors in porcelain factories in Italy and were married in 1965. In 1967 they opened their own porcelain factory in Salagna near Venice.  Cesare and Silvia Villari makes models and prototypes, which are then reproduced by their talented team. Many of their works are Capodimonte reproductions - some of the best in the world - and this activity gives them a well-deserved place among the greatest exponents of the art of Italian porcelain. Their work is not only inspired by Capodimonte porcelain, but also by the Italian Baroque (art of the 17th and 18th centuries characterized by ornate detail) Each individual piece is finished with the utmost care and in minute detail and with high quality, special oils-based paint. They are then finished with 18 karat gold. All Villari items bear the trademark "Porcellane C. Villari" and the Capodimonte Crown and letters "C (Cesare?) V (Villari?) S(Silvia?)" indicating their particular style of Italian porcelain.
Size: 18CM x 18CM and 17CM HIGH
Condition: OVERALL STILL IN REMARKABLE GOOD CONDITION. I SEE VERY LITTLE GILT LOSS (THE FLOWERS MIGHT HAVE SOME). THE DUCKS AND BASE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE LILY FLOWERS ARE UNCLEAR. I HAVE TRIED TO ZOOM IN WITH PHOTOS AND THERE APPEAR TO BE ONE SMALL CHIP TO ONE OF THE FLOWERS PEDAL EDGES.

CAPODIMONTE FLEUR DE LIS MARK:
The Neapolitan origins of this fancy porcelain lie in royal court of Charles III, who ruled Naples in the 1700s. Capodimonte porcelain was created by the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory, which operated in Naples, Italy, between 1743 and 1759. 
FLOWERS BECAME ONE OF THE MOST ENDURING SUBJECTS OF CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN BECAUSE, ACCORDING TO LEGEND,KING CHARLES WAS ALLERGIC TO FLOWERS; PORCELAIN VERSIONS WERE THE ONLY ONES HE COULD ENJOY.
Original items from King Charless Capodimonte porcelain factories were signed with a fleur-de-lis (Fleur means flower, and lis means lily used as a decorative design or symbol.) in blue underglaze. ONLY MUSEUMS AND PRIVATECOLLECTORS WITH LARGE BUDGETS OWN THESE ORIGINAL PIECES.
CAPODIMONTE CROWN OVER NEOPOLITAN N MARK:
This mark was stamped in blue on a variety of pieces including decorative objects and tableware made in the second Capodimonte factory established in Naples by King Charles VIIs son, Ferdinand. This is the mark most often associated with Capodimonte by dealers and collectors. It was used from 1771 until the factory closed in the early 1800s (some sources indicate a closing date of 1817, others say 1834). Pieces marked in this way occasionally make their way into the secondary antique market, usually at high-end antique shows, and are highly prized by collectors when found.
CAPODIMONTE WARES MADE BY OTHER COMPANIES:
Since the 1920s, other companies have made and marketed items as Capodimonte. Many of them have some variation of the crown over Neopolitan N mark in their stamps; others more fully identify the factory where they were made or their designer LIKE THIS C VILLARI ITEM. These pieces were not made at the Royal Factory prior to its closing in the early 1800s, but a select number are still highly valued by collectors if the craftsmanship is of high caliber.
