Hardcovers without dustjackets as published. Gilt titling, tissue covered frontispieces. 
Sadly, the set is incomplete as volume 2 of Bleak House is missing. All books are still in pretty good nick for being over 120 years old. Gilt titling for the most part still bright. There is some rubbing to boards, age darkening, slanting etc, all that one would expect from age. But otherwise a charming set and the books still well bound.
