Vintage "Charlie Weaver" Bartender Toy. This Battery operated Tin Toy was produced in 1962 in Japan for Rosko Toys (Roy Rogers Enterprises). Originally the face turned red and smoke came out of his ears when the drink glass reaches his mouth. Charlie runs on 2 "D" cell batteries
Poor old Charley Weaver Bartender seems to have had a bad time on his way to the pub. He looks as if he has been in the pub since 1962. He is really grubby. No cigarette, moustache, hat or glass in his hand. He would probably be great to sell on for parts to someone who has a part missing in their Charley, or fix him up make him work - have fun.
It seems as if all the wiring is there and the flap to close the batteries up is there too.
