CHARMING 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. FULL OF CHARACTER - RATHER DIFFERENT!
This quirky little ring I have dubbed "the coffee bean". I wish I knew the background to this vintage piece - somebody went to the trouble to have this one commissioned as it has been very carefully crafted into an exact replica of a 9 carat gold coffee bean! Measuring 10mm x 10mm, this charmer has a wavy line running the length of the 'bean', which is held in place by leaflike arms linking it to the shank, which is a simple, delicate band with the 9k hallmark on the inside. At ring size J and weighing under a gram, it would make a conversation piece of a 'pinkie' ring. Cute and quirky. It is not a new piece although I cannot date it. There are definite buff marks that you can see when you twist the gold into the light.
