Jean Temkin trained and worked on both the London and the Johannesburg Stock Exchanges.
She was mainly responsible for popularising charting in the press and later, with her husband Ben, founded Temkin & Moon on Diagonal Street, which she continued to write and edit while abroad for several years in The Isle of Man and the Netherlands.
She co-authored the Federated Life Investment book and worked as a financial writer on the Citizen, The Financial Mail, The Star and Business Day.
