These are nice, mostly uniformally shaped solid shot, w/ a slim deviation in manufacturing consistency w/ regards to both diameter as well as weight. The weight particularly here is 22.2 ~ 22.4gr, slightly lower in weight compared to the mainstay .50 cal nylon solid, which weights 23 ~ 24.8gr
These are what we would call "precision shot" and would certainly perform better, in terms of accuracy as well as repeatability. The finish on these rounds are mostly smooth w/ only a vaguely identifiable seamline apparent.
These come prepacked in a nice transparent PET jar w/ a plastic lid that threads on. Really nice for longer term storage of these rounds and you can certainly see that there has been some hand-selecting involved in the packaging of these rounds.
Perfect for your HDR50, HDP50, F-S ROSCOE and Spyder .50 calibre markers.
Also, these are better for tracing your fire at night, compared to the black solids. They catch the glint of ambient lighting well, such as street lights, moon light, vehicle light, etc. This helps to correct your shot if you miss when firing at night.
70's in a jar, acetal is also more dimensionally stable than nylon, especially when exposed to the colder temperatures associated w/ rapid firing CO2.
