THIS COLLECTABLE ITEM WAS MANUFACTURED BY COALPORT BONE CHINA DURING THE 1970's AND 1980's AND EVENTUALLY DISCONTINUED IN 1993. A UNIQUE AND LOVELY PATTERN KNOWN AS THE REVELRY PATTERN WHICH DISPLAYS A RENAISSANCE STYLE DEPICTION OF CHERUBS IN ADORABLE POSES SET WITHIN BLUE PANELS HIGHLIGHTED BY MIST GREY ROCOCO SCROLL PATTERNING ALONG THE VERGE WHILE A GOLD TRIM HIGHLIGHTS THE RIM

COALPORT WAS ESTABLISHED BY JOHN ROSE IN THE 1790's. IN 1926 COALPORT WAS PURCHASED BY CAULDON POTTERIES AND MOVED TO STOKE-ON-TRENT. IN 1958 COALPORT WAS ACQUIRED BY E.BRAIN & Co OF THE FOLEY WORKS AND IN 1985 COALPORT BECAME PART OF THE WEDGWOOD GROUP
