Hardcover first published 1954 by Evans Brothers Limited. The card jacket is whole, but marked and worn, with several large chips and short tears to the edges. The black boards with gilt titling are clean and square, with narrow strips of sunning to the head and foot of the spine, and bumped corners. Apart from a neat gift inscription on the first end-paper, the pages are clean and unmarked.
