Description	A lovely comic pot - bellied CHEVAL vintage Shetland Pony figurine. South African ceramics made by Nguni ceramics. The figurine stands about 13 cm high and is 15 cm long. Painted in the appaloosa colouring (tricolour light grey, dark grey and brown.)
Notes	The Cheval shetland ponies are very collectable and constantly increasing in value. These lovely pot - bellied figurines are reminiscent of the ponies in the cartoons of Thelwell. The one on sale here is named TIMID TAMMY and she is painted in the 'appaloosa' colouring which is a scarce colouring for Timid Tammy. Grab her while you can. Each Cheval pony is different. the bodies are cast, but the 'spaghetti mane' is applied by hand and they are hand painted in many different colours before they are glazed.
Condition	The figurine is in excellent undamaged condition.
