Purpose built for competition, complete with 560-horsepower, theawe-inspiring Chevrolet Corvette L88 has brought the competition to its kneesin both international and domestic GT racing from Sebring to Le Mans. The finalyear of production saw 116 L88s buily one of which being the famous 1969 L88convertible which is still the only COPO version in known existence. Thisiconic car was originally owned by Ricky Thompkins and has now been restored toits original racing spec, including livery.

 

The Scalextric Model is now very scarce.
