Description

Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere star in this Oscar-winning adaptation of the popular Broadway musical. In 1920s Chicago, showgirl Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones) and aspiring starlet Roxie Hart (Zellweger) are both arrested on the same night for committing two different murders. Placed in jail together on Murderess' Row, both women accept the advice of lawyer Billy Flynn (Gere) and soon begin using their predicaments to their advantage in pursuit of the fame and attention they so desire.
