A Chinese ornament of "Good Luck Children Sleeping on Watermelons".
There must be a story behind these carved wooden figurines and I would be very happy if you could tell me about it!

They bring Wealth and Happiness.

Very endearing! A charming ornament!

Vintage and showing signs of their age: Glittery ornamentation has been worn off.

Otherwise they are in very good condition with a few minor knocks and scratches.

I googled them and tried to find info. I found a set in mint condition for $200 and I found the girl at an auction starting at $60. They seem to be very rare!

Made of solid wood, teak perhaps?
