Chinese Hetian jade archaistic-style bi disc pendant carved around the 60s. The material is identified as white Hetian jade with a fibrous interwoven structure, weighing 136.57 grams. The disc is carved with the Four SymbolsAzure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoisea classic auspicious motif dating back to the Han Dynasty, symbolizing four-directional protection and warding off evil while inviting good fortune. The jade bi features patina and color inclusions, strung with hemp cord and an antique coin accessory, presenting an elegant and substantial aesthetic. As one of the "Six Ritual Jades" in ancient China, the jade bi symbolizes heaven and earth; the Four Symbols motif embodies ancient cosmology and prayers for blessings.
