Chinese Hetian Jade Leaf Pendant with Vintage Hand Carving
This leaf-shaped Hetian jade ornament, also named "Golden Branch and Jade Leaf", was handcrafted seventy to eighty years ago. The jade is pale white with mild oily texture, partially marked by natural light yellow russet, covered with soft natural aged patina. Delicate intaglio lines carve leaf veins on the front in smooth ancient strokes, with vivid layered leaf edges; the plain reverse is finely polished, and a threading hole is reserved at the leaf stem for easy wearing.
This motif symbolizes flourishing offspring, safety and noble fortune. It adopts traditional hand carving with soft cutting traces, free of rigid machine carving marks of modern times. The jade remains intact without cracks, only bearing subtle natural traces of time, possessing both practical wearing value and collection value as a folk antique jade piece.
Ideal for collectors and antique dealers. Very valuable.
