Chinese porcelain opium pillow headrest late 19th or early 20th Century

Offered for sale is an unusual and highly decorative Chinese porcelain opium pillow or pillow headrest probably late 19th Century or early 20th Century. The head rest is rectangular in shape , and is hollow cast with an open work top. The sides of the head rest are decorated with a repeat pattern of a cavorting dragon Chi'Ling playing with a brocade ball . The borders of the pillow block are decorated with a repeat scrolling greek-key  pattern .The top of the pillow has a motif of bats to accompany the fretwork /open work detail. The pillow is signed on the top left of one of the lateral sides.
