Qing Dynasty Hetian Jade "Wealth from All Directions" Crab-shaped Pendant

This is a small pendant made of Hetian jade from the Qing Dynasty, carved into the shape of a crab with exquisite craftsmanship. The jade is (smooth and moist) and delicate, with a soft white jade color. There are natural patina and traces of time in some parts, making it more simple and elegant.

 

The crab shape is lifelike, with powerful crab claws, agile crab legs, and clear patterns on the carapace. Since "crab" is a homophone for " (xiè)" in Chinese, it also has auspicious meanings of wealth from all directions and being successful in every field. It is a fine piece among Qing Dynasty jade ornaments that combines practicality and cultural connotation. This small jade pendant carries the ancient people's beautiful wish for a prosperous and smooth life.
