The auction featured several notable items, including illuminated manuscripts such as a German prayer book that sold for £358,650, a Book of Hours for the use of Sarum in Latin, French, and Middle English which realized £116,650, and a Book of Hours for the use of Utrecht in Dutch, also selling for £116,650. Other significant illuminated manuscripts included a Bible in Latin (£38,240), an Epistolary in Latin (£32,900), and Peter Comestor's Historia Scholastica in Latin (£33,460). These results demonstrated a robust market for rare books and high-quality illuminated manuscripts, with multiple items surpassing £100,000.
