Absolutely superlative bright shiny green and a 100% natural rare earth gem. As the name indicates, it is a high chrome content that gives these gems their incomparable colour. Much intenser greens than Tsavorite garnet and MUCH cleaner than emeralds.
Chrome diopside is becoming rarer and more collectable. It arguably possesses the BEST green colour in the gemstone kingdom. It has a hardness of 6.
