The chronicle provides an overview of the history of the former German colony of South West Africa in the period from 1883 to 1915. In addition to military history, economic, social and infrastructural aspects are described. Furthermore, this interesting book contains probably the most complete list of immigrants who immigrated at the time of colonization and has been repeatedly updated and revised over nine editions. The author of the Chronicle of German Southwest Africa, H. E. Lenssen, came to German Southwest Africa (DSWA) in 1898 and remained until his death in 1954. Lenssen had personally known many of the historical persons described in his chronicle and questioned them on historical topics. Schutztruppen, colonial and WW1

Soft cover, 246 matt typed pages with some old newspaper inserts. Used with some damage to spine and cover. Text in German.
