Bovey Pottery in Devon produced the “Our Gang” series during WW2, of which Churchill (“The Boss”) – for obvious reasons - was the most popular. The Bovey Pottery managed to get past wartime restrictions by only producing these in a mono colour. On the outside of the sole of his right shoe, there is a small spot where the glazing does not cover the body. I believe it probably left the factory like this. I have taken a close-up picture, so please study the pictures carefully. This apart, he is free of cracks, chips or restoration. Churchill stands 21cm tall. Please add R45 for postage.
