This item is a complete set of 25 beautifully caricatured Original Trade Cards issued by WPL Systems of Swansea.(Printers) about 1995 on the subject of Welsh Rugby and entitled Welsh Rugby Legends. The pictures are the same as the J.Ritchie 'Welsh Wizards set but in this case the players and club names are printed on the backs of the cards.They are caricatured by the late 'Dorrien' who was a well known sports Welsh artist. The Welsh Rugby Legends included are as follows:- Rex Willis, Brian Thomas, Bobby Windsor, Stuart Watkins, Dewi Bebb, Malcolm Thomas, Don Hayward, Bryn Meredith, Roy John, Billy Clever, Ray Prosser, Dai Morris, John Dawes, Norman Gale, Ken Jones, R.H.Williams, Haydn Morgan, Steve Fenwick, Terry Davies, Jack Matthews, Clive Rowlands, J.P.R.Williams, Denzil Williams, Brian Price and Lewis Jones. They are thick cards with a patterned back.
