Hi there, I have this absolutely stunning Victorian solid hardwood chair. The chair is in excellent condition, save a small tear measuring 3cm (tiny), on the back pad (see pictures), which has been neatly stitched. The heavy seat pad is removable and that allows the chair to fold up. Furniture such as this was popular in Victorian times for outdoor use in style and for convenient storage. This is a truly beautiful piece with detailed carvings, neat upholstery and overall a study and actually surprisingly comfortable chair!
