40mm gold-tone case | Green dial | Automatic | Date | Sapphire crystal | 10 ATM (100m) water resistant | Men's | 24-month warranty
The Citizen NJ0232-53X takes a diver-style rotating bezel and a green sunburst dial and finishes them entirely in gold-tone.
Case and Wrist Presence
The 40mm case carries a gold-tone finish through the case, bezel and bracelet, with a rotating-look bezel marked in 15-minute increments in the diver tradition.
Dial and Legibility
The green dial keeps bold stick markers and a date window at 3 o'clock, with "AUTOMATIC" printed above the sub-seconds area confirming the movement inside.
Movement and Functions
The dial identifies an automatic movement, wound by the motion of the wrist rather than a battery.
- Date display - date window on the dial
- Sapphire crystal - scratch-resistant cover over the dial
- Water resistance - 10 ATM (100 metres)
Strap, Clasp and Fit
The gold-tone bracelet is sized by removing links, the standard approach for a metal bracelet.
Who This Watch Suits
- Someone who wants diver styling finished entirely in gold-tone
- A mechanical watch with everyday water resistance
- Everyday wear at a 40mm size
Water Resistance and Everyday Durability
Rated to 10 ATM, the watch covers swimming and general water exposure, though it is not rated for scuba diving. Seat the crown fully before any contact with water.
Care and Maintenance
Regular wear keeps the automatic movement running; a few days off the wrist and it will need resetting. Wipe the gold-tone case and bracelet with a soft cloth to keep the plating even.
