CK Koshibe      Tinplate Toy Submarine casing

Cream and yellow painted tinplate casing or hull only of a post-war clockwork toy submarine apparently made by CK / Koshibe, Japan although there are no visible markings on the submarine.  The hull was opened to remove the clockwork mechanism and the seam has been rather damaged in the process and  the deck  dented and the paint scratched.  Other than this the original paintwork is in fair condition.  The propeller, although loose is still present but the rudder is missing.  This could present an interesting challenge for a skilled toy restorer or be of interest simply as a novelty.
