It has never been used and I cleaned it in the usual way with non-abrasive silver cleaning shampoo,
then rinsed it under running hot water and finally dried it with a soft cloth.
To top it off I applied a thin layer of anti-tarnish polish and buffed it to its rich glow.

I love salt cellars and mustard pots and this one is a particular favourite judging by design,
appearance and functionality. Look at the ornate rim and the wonderful effect of the lions' heads
from which start the legs. Outstanding!

Actually, it is best just for display. It stands 7 cm high with the lid closed.

Go grab it, collectors! It is also great for resell.
