Clay Bust by MT Mhlongo dated 1980, he started carving animals out of wood in Eshowe in Kwa Zulu Natal and then started sculpting clay Busts and his work is shown in the Tatum Gallery, he still makes the clay busts in the traditional method by firing them in a pit.
