Here we have on auction a clean & unused old-gen (USA origina) SDU5/E strobe (distress marker) in original box with (used) battery - intact and no damage - sold as a display piece (not sure of condition - may work if one got the correct battery???)

Includes latter style brass cap to allow use of 2 x CR123 batteries.

Sold untested and voetsstoods as a display piece.

This type of strobe was widely used by the SADF Special Forces in SWA? Angola and also 32 Battalion. ALSO type used in vietnam and other conflicts by SF all over.

NO infra-red lens is included in this auction - only items as seen in the pics (incl the storage caps) and original box.
