This is an unusual and beautiful combination of natural clear quartz and diamonds in a flower cluster design. This ring features a single oval cut natural quartz gemstone in the centre, which is framed by 8 x round cut diamonds set in 9ct gold. The quartz gemstone has been claw set in 9ct gold. It is full of inclusions and quite opaque at first glance but has lovely flashes of colour in it when held up at different angles of light. The surrounding diamonds have been pave set into the ring head border. The shank of the ring is dainty and narrow, and is decorated with interesting engraved lines on both shoulders, looking much like an abstract grass-like plant. The ring head presents itself 6mm high above the finger.
This ring bears the hallmarks for 9ct gold ( 375 ), Birmingham Assay, and the date mark for 1992.
