Monday March 12th 1917 a convoy of Zeppelins is despatched from Germany to bomb London. One of them runs into trouble but against advice its commander decides to press on. In Hertfordshire the injured plane is spotted by an air defence squadron led by Matthew Farr who has his own reasons for wanting to shoot it down.
