Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) follows quirky inventor Flint Lockwood, who creates a machine that converts water into food to save his sardine-dependent town, Swallow Falls. While initially successful and popular, the machine malfunctions, creating dangerous, massive food storms. Flint must work to destroy the machine and stop the food-induced disaster.
