The head and foot of the spine are frayed. Split to the front and rear pastedowns, exposing netting. Book seller label to inside front board, Darter Bros, Cape Town. Small half-circle piece missing from the odge of the frontispiece tissue guard. The gilt-edged pages are clean and unmarked.
