Cobalt Blue Vapo Cresolene Bottle

A Vicks Vapo Cresolene bottle which contained the liquid to be burned in a Vapo Cresolene burner. (see last photo) These bottles are usually aqua or clear glass, so a cobalt blue one is fairly rare. The bottle is 13.5cm in height. It is slightly worn from having been buried and then dug up. There are two small "bruises" at the bottom corner of the panel with "Vapo Cresolene" on; otherwise the bottle is in very good condition. It has a patent date of  June 18th 1895, and the bottle itself probably dates from the very late 1890s.
