Its polymer plastic base has a heat shield and air pockets built-in, so it stays cool to the touch, and can be picked up or touched while cooking (a GREAT safety feature making it perfect for boating)
The COBB is very fuel efficient, using only 8 charcoal briquettes (300grams / 9oz) for 3 hours of cooking!
