Codar TEC-88 model railway electronic simulation power control system. This power control system is for use on Hornby, Bachmann, Lima etc model railway systems. This single power supply unit has the normal on/off, forward and reverse selection with having the added bonus to select “simulation” where your locomotive will steadily ramp up speed to your required set point and/or decrease speed as required over an adjustable time. This gives the effect of a real locomotive starting and stopping. It also has short circuit protection cut out, indicated by a red warning light. The adjustable Output power is indicted with a white light. Although I have not been able to test the system on a model railway setup, everything lights up when plugged into the electricity. Great buy for the model train collector.
