Coir Fibre Pots are natural, bio-degradable, eco-friendly alternatives to toxic conventional plastics. Coir (coconut fibre) extracted from the husks of coconuts are bound and shaped using natural latex. The organic structure of the Pot promotes the growth of healthy root systems – the fibrous nature of Coir facilitates the roots of plants to easily penetrate through the walls of the container and aids in air pruning of roots during the propagation process. The Pot together with its contents can be directly planted into the ground thus eliminating transplant shock during replanting. Planting the Pot directly into the ground allows the plant to take root much more effectively and promotes the growth of plants in all shapes and sizes.
