What is coir peat?
Coir peat is made from the the husks of coconuts and is a by-product of the coconut industry. The non-fibrous material is screened to give a constant organic matter content, and used as an alternative to Peat Moss.
Coir Peat has found uses in many horticultural applications
Coir Peat is a sustainable solution for golf courses, mushroom farming, hydroponics, potting mixes, turf farming, garden beds, cut flowers and earthworm bedding
Preperation
Remove wrapper and place the briquette with a capicity to hold a minimum of 8 litres
Soak in 6 to 7 litres of water for 45 minutes or until it has expanded enough to be broken down into granular form
It is now ready to use
Postage R45.00 for the first briquette, R15.00 per briquette thereafter
