Colclough 'Pink Flower' Trio

A charming trio by the well-known English company, Colclough (now part of Royal Doulton). The outer part of each piece is coloured a lovely light yellow with a representation of a pink flowers (perhaps impatiens?) with leaves in the centre (and on the inside of the cup). The edges are lightly scalloped and richly gilded. The square cake plate is in the Art Deco-style, although the trio itself dates from several decades later. The colours are slightly darker and deeper than on the photos. As with most Colclough pieces, the pattern is not named.

All three pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The gilding is intact everywhere. The cup measures about 8.3 cm across (excluding the handle) and is 6.6 cm high. The diameter of the saucer is about 14 cm and its height 2.2 cm. The cake plate measures about 15.2 cm across.
