Description | Bosman wrote Cold Stone Jug, a collection of sardonic, comic prison sketches and his semi-autobiographical book in Pretoria Central Prison while sentenced to death for killing his brother. His sentence was later reduced to ten years with hard labour. In 1930, he was released on parole after serving half his sentence. |
