VINTAGE 'LADY IN A HAT' SOLID STERLING SILVER 41MM DIAMETER BROOCH. WELL-HALLMARKED. 925

This pretty sterling silver piece has an 'olde worlde' charm, with a young woman - rendered in raised, intricate detail - in profile, facing left, wearing a bonnet, with ringlets hanging down. This is set within a 41mm circular frame, with openwork both in front of and behind the lady. The piece weighs a solid 12 grams and is well-hallmarked with '925' for sterling silver, the jeweller's signature, the British Sterling lion, the date mark for 1989 and the Birmingham assay mark. A lovely, colelctable piece.
