On offer we have this beautiful, highly collectable MEISSEN Porcelain Red Ming Dragon Flared Vase. This special piece, as with all Meissen, is hand painted and hand- crafted from the finest hard paste porcelain. The vase is approximately 16 cm high, the rim is approximately 14 cm in diameter and the base is approximately 9,5 cmin diameter. The mystical Ming Dragon is the focal point of the design which adorns the front of the vase, stylized clouds and pearls are found at various sections of the vase including the sides and back, all are painted in red. A metal cover adorns the bottom in order to protect the bottom of the vase. The factory mark of the blue crossed swords under glaze is on the underside as well as red writing and embedded numbers. The vase is in very good condition with no cracks, nicks, chips or scratches to the porcelain!

What a fantastic find for the MEISSEN Collector. Some similar sized Meissen Red Dragon pieces are priced upwards of $300.00 (plus minus R3000.00) second hand.
