A VERY COLLECTABLE, RARELY SEEN CECIL ALDIN (1810 - 1935) design handpainted BURLEIGH WARE JUG.

c 1900s

It features a typical tongue-in-cheek, satirical design by the artist by whom it is also signed

THE JUG WAS MADE FOR GRAY SMITH & CO, PTY, LTD, " OLD BELL TEA" PACKERS.

It stands 14.5cm high. BASE DIA 13.5cm. LENGTH FROM SPOUT TO HANDLE APPROX 17cm

In very good VINTAGE CONDITION

No cracks, chips or stains. There are scuffs to the decoration, as can be seen in the photos
