This is a rather interesting Dutch jug.
The jug is stamped: METAWA - MADE IN HOLLAND
The jug measures approximately 21 cm in height at the highest side AND 15 cm at the lowest side, with a diameter of 8 cm at the base.
The underside of the vase bears the following stamp: "METAWA - HOLLAND - TRADE MARK".
There are marks and spots on the jug from wear and tear, and the lacquer stared to come off due to cleaning but does not detract from the item.
