Collectible 1990 South African Short Proof Set in original South African Mint Box

  

This is a South African Proof Set for 1990 that includes the small PW Botha R1 coin only found in this set. It is the first year of the RSA 3rd decimal series, featuring the new R2 denomination. These coins were not circulated and is still in its original South African Mint (SAM) box. The coins are in excellent condition. The box is in a very good condition but does show some wear and marks on the outside, there is however no damage. As we are not specialists in the field of coins, we do not grade the few items we do offer for sale.

 

A very pleasing and collectible proof set.
