Offered for sale is a stylish and collectible large cake lifter by acclaimed  South African designer the late Carol Boyes whose quirky and functional home ware items are marketed internationally  and in South African through branded stores country wide. This item has a pewter handle fashioned to represent a stylized female figure bare chested in the archaic Greek or Roman manner with the lower half of the body in a tunic wrapped around the body. The spatula is blade shaped and made of stainless steel . This piece is stamped on the back with the Boyes mark; the condition is very good. As a price comparison this item retails new through online  and retail stores at around R900-R1000.

Postage is R100 via Postnet; alternatively collect from Emmerantia Jhb
