Collection of Silver and Silver Plate Cutlery.Oldest ones circa 1897.Sold as one lot.R1 Start

A COLLECTION OF HALLMARK, BIRKS STERLING SILVER AND SILVER PLATE CUTLERY SOLD AS ONE LOT.

On offer is a collection of a total on 41 knives,forks and spoons offered as one lot.

The most interesting of the lot are:

-3 AJ Bailey Hallmarked Coffee Spoons with twisted handles and Jubilee Patterns probably circa 1897-These are real little beauties.I could not find the excact same ones on the intenet but similar more recent ones seems to sell for USD30-40 on eBay.See pictures below.

-A BIRKS Sterling Silver Meat Fork with a ' London Engraved' Pattern circa 1914.These seems to go for about USD 150 if you can find them.See

-Various weird knives,forks and spoons-I did not have time to research all of them fully.

-A bundle of 10 forks with bone handles of all kinds of sizes and shapes.These forks have been well used and some are protuding from the handles but they are still usable and interesting.

-A bundle of 5 fish knives(I think) with bone handles also well used.

The items have seen some to a good amount of use but are still suitable for every day use or to put in a show case.

The lot weighs a kilo or two and will have to be send by parcel post so contact me for a quote if successful.I will also deliver free of charge any reasonable distance from Cape Town.
