I bought this set approximately 10 years ago in Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe side, it is hand carved by the locals. I do not know what type of wood it is made from. The board folds into half and the pieces are stored inside the board.
As you will see the one hippopotamus has lost its mouth. Some of the ears are slightly chipped. All the pieces are present.
