 Collectors Plate by Wedgwood 1951 Depicting Giraffe

This plate is 25.5cm across and is in perfect condition.  It is backstamped Suid Afrika Nasionale Kruger Wildtuin.  1st Edition of a 1st Series of 6. Giraffe .  Original border by Mrs J Stevenson-Hamilton.  Centres from camera studies by Dick Woolf. C.P. de L Beyers.  P.W. Willis  Hand Engraved by the Wedgwood School of Engraving.  It has a circular stamp reading Wedwood of Etruria Made in England Barlaston and then reads Sponsored by McLaren Campbell and Co. Johannesburg South Africa. It also has a map of the then Kruger National Park with arrows indicating the way to Johannesburg and Lourenco Marques.  There is also the impressed marking which indicates it was made in February 1951.
