 Collectors Plate by Wedgwood 1951 Depicting Kudu

This plate is 25.5cm across and is in perfect condition.  It is backstamped Union National Parks - Unie Nasionale Wildtuine.  1st Edition of a 1st Series of 4. Kudu Strepsiceros.  From the original drawings by Charles Thomas Astley Maberly.  Hand Engraved by the Wedgwood School of Engraving.  It has two circular stamps on either side reading Wedwood of Etruria Made in England Barlaston and the second circular medallion reads Sponsored by McLaren Campbell and Co. P.O. Box 3057 Johannesburg South Africa Wedgwood Commerative Ware Agents for South Africa. It also has a map of the then Union of South Africa.  There is also the impressed marking which indicates it was made in November 1951.
