Great looking, made of solid Ash hardwood with walnut stain and clear lacquer finish. Chrome plated metal pulls and latches. Metal corner reinforcements add durability and flair. The chest with drawer liners weighs approximately 25lbs. A handsome and useful crafted piece.
The pen trays are custom made from light weight, high density foam. Pen slots will accommodate pens up to a larger sized pen (3/4" x 6" slots). The 2 large, bottom drawers will allow for two layers of trays. The top compartment will accommodate three layers of trays. Modular design allows you to intermix the pen trays according to style or type of pen. Or you can leave out some of the trays and store pen boxes, nibs, ink, paper or refills in the top compartment. With this chest, you can store your entire collection in one place and see your entire collection at once.
Pen trays and slots are finished with a color matched adhesive and coated with Suede-Tex felt flocking. The finished surface is lustrous, evenly napped and soft to the touch. It is very durable and offers great protection for your pens finish.
